My Graduation Day

150th Commencement Exercises at the PICC plenary hall

my blockmates: boys (biochem): jv, mike
girls (biochem): kassie, maan, jacq
girls (chem): me, tian, adiel, ave, tin, ofel

reservation from 9am to 2pm
arrived there at around 7:20am, and umuwi ng around 12 plus yata but nakalabas kami ng parking ng 1:30pm na... ang bagal kasi and many cars
~i wore the same dress from the last time, coz natuwa ako sa purple and cute e

call time / assembly time: 7:30am
start of processional: 8am-9am - presentation of candidates
actual graduation proper: 9am- around 12

PROGRAM:
1. invocation by Ricardo Laguda
2. entrance of colors and univ. mace by DLSU NROTC
3. national anthem by Reynabel Baquero of DLSU chorale
4. awarding ceremony of jose rizal honors society, academic awards by Julius Maridable (vice-chancellor for acad)
5. awarding ceremony for the special award by sir Voc Mistades (dean of DSA)
6. conferring of degrees by Armin Luistro (president of DLSU)
7. message to the graduates by the president -on which nakikinig talaga mga tao, coz ang taas ng sense of humor, and relating everything sa uaap basketball
8. presentation of graduates by the deans - from around going 10am-11:30am
nung nasabi na ung last name sa College of Science, palakpakan mga tao kasi tapos na rin, SA WAKAS!
ORDER of Presentation of the graduates:
a. College of Business and Economics (CBE) - in color beige/ brown
b. College of Engineering (COE) - orange
c. College of Education (CED) - blue or aqua blue
d. College of Computer Studies (CCS) - green or dark green
e. College of Liberal Arts (CLA) - white
f. College of Science (COS) - in yellow, on which i belong... around 30 lang kami
TOTAL of 987 graduates yata...
9. alumni oath taking by Juan Valdes (president DLSAA) - na palpak ang nangyari, di cya marunung kung kelan mag stop reading so that we could repeat after him... and he forgt to let us all stand muna.. and at first, hindi niya pina-repeat.. nag repeat kami, then next line, hindi na namin nirepeat, then tsaka niya sinabi na repeat after me...
10. response by Patricia Palanca (Magna, COS, BS-Math) - of course, nice accent by her, and congrats on having the opportunity na ikaw ang napili to give message to us, graduates
11. alma mater song by Raymond Soliven (a graduate, College of Science)
12. exit of colors and univ. mace by the DLSU naval ROTC
13. recessional of the administrators, univ. fellows and faculty

after the whole program proper, naunahan kaming lahat ng Engineerring people umakyat ng stage to take pictures... then sumunod and mga ComSci people e..
but still, naka akyat parin ako ng stage...with adiel, tian, and tin na nga lang
~went to aristocrat-roxas blvd with my parents to eat lunch coz gutom na sila
