all of my 24 hours is consumed (sleep, break, travel time and work)
2.1 sleep (only sleep for 4hours - 8 hours)
2.2 break (eating lunch and some snacks)
2.3 travel time (for 45mins to 2 hours at most then times 2, kasi papunta and pauwi pa)
2.4 work (hourly, even nag bre-break kami)
Working as a quality control (QC) analyst
- consider as a manaegerial position (supervisor, manager,...)
- next to it is the supervisory position
My job is to...
go to the line (NCB or non carbonated beverages), check everything is running smoothly, then read the termperatures of the cooling tunnel, check the chlorine concentration of the rinser or washer by the microquant test, after checking the equipments/ machines (e.g. labeler, caps/crowns, coder), 2 to 4 samples/products are get hourly and all of the test (e.g. titration using ph meter, density meter) are done hourly...
Line 7 - tropicana and lipton in 240ml returnable glass bottles
upcoming item: gatorade in 240 mlglass bottles (trial palang)
Line 8 - gatorade (400ml pop up cap, 500ml PET bottles), tropicana (PET, 1.5 L)
Line 9 - gatorade (500ml PET bottles), lipton (PET bottles)
Advantage/s:
1. not very strict sa work so nagiging fun tuloy, pero have fun at the right time...
2. ako lang ang chinese doon.. ang daming ilonggo and i cant understand un mga sinasabi nila pag sila-sila nag uusap...
3. laging may libreng kainan especially pag nagkaroon ng meeting ung mga nasa manaegerial position and ako pinakabata doon.. akala pa nga ng ibang tao doon, nag OJT lang ako, and un iba sabi naman, i look like 18 or 19..
3.1 i experienced un first meeting with them and doon din ako nag-introduced myself coz im the new analyst, last oct 20 (sat) with free breakfast and lunch
3.2 i experienced first assembly with almost everyone last oct 15, with free lunch naman
3.3 i experienced eating with the whole quality control department (of course, un nasa manaegerial position lang) yesterday, oct 27, i think around 14 people kami inclusive of the QC manager.. and total cost namin sa food ay P981 sa may turo-turo (ihawan) pa yan ah, and ang lakas kumain ng mga people doon kahit girls...6 girls kaming nasa quality department
Disadvantage/s:
1. normally we work at an average 12 hours per day... so if i work 12 hours plus 4 hours balikan travel time, total of 16 hours and plus 1 hour ng pag-prepare and all (e.g. ligo), tapos paligoy-ligoy pa ng several minutes or hours, kaya konti nalang time for sleep...but im getting used to waking up early...
2. if i became regular, wala ng overtime pay, they call it as an extra allowance na.. so iba na un payment style... so, ngayong hindi pa ako regular, overtime is at my advantage
Therefore,
Iba talaga pag mature na mga people.. like nung kumain kami yesterday, chipped-in kasi ang bayad, wow! ang nilabas ng manager namin ay P500, iba na talaga brains ng mas mature na people, unlike me and un ibang kasama ko doon na small amounts lang talaga... i think now, im still immature, *laughs* , most of my collegues ay at their late twenties or at their twenties
i just realized na, sa work ako mukhang mag-grgrow because of all the people around me, and im so dedicated.. ika-nga ng company, "passion" is important..
While on job...
dahil sa im working in a plant, of course, para kang nag-aaral sa isang all boys school or nasa boys town.. bihira silang makakita ng girls and 6 lang kaming girls doon sa quality (cympre sa sales dept meron din girls, may mga babae na nagtratrabaho doon pero mga barako yata or something..iyong parang... basta iba sila.
So, parang.. everytime ur going to make lakad, lahat ng tao nakatingin sayo kasi nga bihira sila makakita ng girls.
...Maraming taong "papansin", mga hello ng hello..
un mga gumagamit ng iba-ibang styles like...
1. miss, ako nalang magbubuhat nyan (eh wala namang laman un hawak ko)
2. ate / miss, anung pangalan mo
3. miss, anung number mo
...kapag naka-globe sila, magtetext un everyday so i dont give numbers sa globe talaga!
...kapag naka-smart, depende if tlagang needed, kasi if alm mo numbers ng mga taga-linya, pwdeng text mo lang sila pra mag utos ka when ur tinatamad pumunta ng line
4. may boyfriend ka na
5. ilan taon ka na
6. hi... or psstt.. or magpaparinig
7. un one time, may hi ng hi, and i snob it, kunwri wala akong naririnig, then pag daan ko agen, nag hi siya while approaching so i walk fast...

Some thoughts: *reprise*
Hindi lahat ng bagay maaayon sa gusto mo, its like everything is opposite, kapag may gusto ka, wala sayo.. then kapag nasa sayo na, ayaw mo naman...
Everything that happen in this life is always challenging, for example, the drivers work hard to earn money for their family, then if ur a rich person, u still work hard to maintain ur richfulness. So, even though u are rich or poor, happy or sad, beautiful or not, its still the same... you will have your own problem, own thing..
*(while i was riding the jeep last night and so cant remember exactly mga naisip ko)*
Three things i really hate (1- hatest) when i ride a jeep...
1. Cigars - i really hate smokers, whenever i ride the jeep lagi nalang may nag-smoke, either the driver or one of the passengers, im sensitive pa naman to the smoke so kahit malayo ako, okay lang naman mag-smoke just make sure wala ako near you or hindi sakin pumupunta un smoke, pagod na nga ako everyday, im afraid na humina ang body immune system ko, tapos dadagdagan pa ng smoke!
2. Stoppings - when ur in a hurry or ma-le-late na, they stop and stop at almost every corner.. its like kahit gaano ka ka-aga umalis, ur gonna be late parin... for instance, umalis ako ng 5am, and sometimes i arrived the company at 6:05am kahit wala namang traffic.. nakakainis!
3. Drinkers - inom ng inom, d naman pala kaya! just last week lang, may sumakay ng jeep na drunk, and while nasa jeep, nag swi-swing siya.. and ang galaw pa niya, at first d ko siya katabi kaso lang bumaba na mga katabi ko, then ayun katabi ko na ung lasing na g*go, almost mahiga na siya sakin sa kaka-swing nya, and take note, ang laki niyang tao, lumalayo ako kaya lang nasa end na ako ng jeep noh.. then the next day noon, may sumakay na naman na drunk, pero at least mas okay naman kaya lang halatang super bangag siya pero bumaba din naman siya agad.. So, uminom lang ng kaya!!!
iba talaga ang college, favorite part ko yan...
with all the fun... dyan ako natuto ng halos lahat..
college blockmates: hope we can have a reunion na complete or almost complete.. so that it could be fun... marami naman mag-bbday dyan e.. juz kidding, .. but if u guys want, instead na pang-lilibre lang, just libre sa mga reunions or get-together
