We went to a marine station for like an alternative class at our subject/ course CHEENVI (environmental chemistry) which Dr J is our professor and which is a dean of the COS(college of science). Dr Licuanan is the one in charge/ director of that marine station.
Last Saturday, march 03, 2007.
we went to DLSU, Bro Andrew Shields Marine Station at Lian Batangas.
we departed at around 7:30am, while on the journey, tian took some pictures; we had fun on the car (which was the L300 of shiong), we pick up Dr J at SM bacoor (as what ate lelyn told us to).
after which, we arrived lian, batangas at around 11am,we arranged our beds (and other stuffs), for about 30minutes, orientation about seawater living was done by Dr Licuanan, it as done at around 12:30pm, then we ate lunch; then watch a video about coral reefs (not color refs) , and coral reefs look so nice on video/pictures.
We took pictures. What was fun was the three shots on the camera of ave.at first, the same pose was done on the three takes. But after that, we already know how it works. And it was fun.
After this, i am not feeling well, so, i didnt join the tour already coz i feel a little dizzy, then i somewhat insisted that i will still join but my friends (shiong, mario, harvey, aju, jacq, adiel, ....) told me to just rest. And i told them (mario, shiong .....)to wake me up so that i could join swimming on the beach.I think, at around 4pm, mario wake me up and we (mario, shiong..) went to the beach (to swim) to join the others (jacq, tian, harvey, aju, maan ....) while adiel and ave were already at the shore taking there vain pictures. We saw the nice sunset there. we were enjoying swimming and the boys started to throw sand on some of us, and some also put sand on there face and head for camouflage or something. It was really fun. what did i do on that day was to just rest and went swimming and i think swimming is the best medicine, (hahaha) Then, it also rain back then, we went back to the shelter at around 6pm and took a bath.
Dr J was the one preparing and cooking the food with the help from some of the graduate students. Because the food wasn't done yet so We ate at around 8:10pm. We all help to clean up the table and the dishes.
After dinner, we watched a video about coral reefs adventure, and somw watched while in bed. the video was nice. Afterwhich, it is our free time (may do anything). Some went to sleep already, but the INP/BNP (except that our founding mother is not there), stayed up late and talk about nonsense like about the redox reactions, thus, Dr J was with us the whole night and it was nice talking with him and harvey was the master of chemistry at that night. Dr J was so fun to hang out with.
Yesterday, sunday march 04, 2007 which was my "birthday"
At almost, 12 in the morning, my friends (adiel, ave, tian, jacq, and aju) went out of the room to just greet and sing birthday song for me. The INP group was already with me the whole night (maan, mario, shiong, harvey, plus our new recruit andrew) and also with Dr J. They tried to find a candle but can't find one, so they (mario) just lit up a lighter that serves as the candle.

At around 2am in the morning, maan went to sleep already but didn't sleep at our room but the other room which has an aircon, so the beds were not enough and so aju and jacq stayed up all night, and Dr J also went to sleep.
After that, we still continue to have a chat with shiong, mario, andrew, and harvey. Shiong, as always, drink as many water as he can until he's drunk over the koreans. Shiong, you really made us laugh at that morning (you already know the lines over that thing). At around 3 plus, we went to sleep already just except for mario. And so i didn't know what time did mario sleep.
I want to wake up at around 4am so that i can have more fun but unfortunately, maan woke me up at around 7am, and chat with ave, tian, and adiel. And soon, shiong, mario and harvey also woke up. Ate breakfast at around 8am.
At around 9am or so, we went snorkeling with the guide of Dr Licuanan, maan, adiel, tian and me were the last one to arrive there at the boat, and the boat went to almost the center of the sea or someplace center. All in all, 11 of us went snorkeling (katz, kristine, adiel, tian, shiong, mario, andrew, aju, jacq, maan, and me), and ave stayed at the boat and she looks like the "may-ari" of that boat. Some of us got hurt upon going down the boat because of the corals (which looks like rocks). At first, i don't know how to snorkel and tried to do it myself until i get used to it.And i was so happy because i really love to swim and at the same time, i dont think of getting drowned because i wore a lifevest. We saw many corals and sea-urchin (was the attraction), and i also saw some fishes. We finished snorkeling at around 10am, and went back the shore.. and next thing we do, is the "kayak" thing, ave, jacq, mario, aju, shiong and me were the only ones who wanted to do this stuff. So, the first kayak was carried by mario and aju to the shore and jacq and ave were the ones who used it. The second kayak was carried by shiong and me , and at almost the shoreline, mario helped me. Mario and I used the second kayak first and we toured the place and saw nice views. I was so happy, because i think, i really learned to use the ... i forgot again how you call that thing you use to move a kayak. Sometimes, we moved like the motor boats.. and it was so fun. After that, shiong and mario were the ones did the kayak thing.
I wanted to have a water proof camera upon seeing the camera of Dr Licuanan, and shoting some pictures of the corals and other sea creatures/species.
And i just stayed somewhere and chatted with aju. At around 12noon, adiel and tian went there and take some pictures too. We were done kayaking at around 12:30pm and went back to take a bath. We ate lunch at maybe around 1:30pm, and after that, we (adiel, tian, ave) took some pictures and took vain pictures again when jacq was already with us. We took pictures until we saw people putting stuffs at the car. We fixed our stuffs and put it in the car, and before we go, Dr J called up Dr Licuanan to have a group picture, and we are ready to go. But, i went back in to give the gift to Dr Licuanan and he's a little bit shocked that a gift was given to him as a token.
We departed at 2:35pm. We then again passed by tagaytay to buy some pasalubong; also passed by imus cavite to send-off Dr J and rosalyn. At first, harvey and maan were the ones noisy, after sending them off, it was not noisy anymore.
We arrived lasalle at around 5:30pm , the original plan was that we go directly to aristocrat but unfortunately, we need to drop off lasalle, and after that, mario was with us already. We all go to aristocrat (roxas blvd), and ate dinner there and that was around 6:30pm. We ordered the chicken barbeque and a pork barbeque because harvey wants some pork. Michael also came, but james and vincent cannot make it., aju and jacq went out and came back with a something cake-like stuff with a candle.

We ate and talking about the koreans again, and some nonsense stuff. Adiel went home first. and At around 7:30pm, jacq, tian&michael with ave also went home already. the PNP group, now then, think of a place to go, but we end up walking at the baywalk and saw many things (like .....); we also saw koreans there, at around 8:30pm, we planned to go home, but before going home, we saw cotton candy and bought one.
We first went back to lasalle so that its easier for aju and maan to go home. I think, they ride different taxi. We send mario to his lasalle-like house. so harvey, shiong and i were the only ones left. Harvey looks tired and went to sleep at the car. i was the first to be drop off, and i saw my dad, mom, and 2 'lil brothers; and i was shocked that my 'lil brother was holding a sun shop paper bag and asked him if he bought a sun (not the sun on the solar system).
Unfortunately, when i got home, we have no water (since friday or saturday), and i really hate it,so i fix my things, and watched TV (coz we again have a cable, but its not the cable wire, i mean, we have a cable-TV). I can again watch nickelodeon, disney channel and etc... At around 10:30pm, i went to sleep because i am really sleepy already.
It was worth going.

And, today, when i woke up, my right shoulder hurts a little bit but not my left shoulder , this is because of that kayak thing, (my left is stronger than my right), so it is imbalance.
And now, its already 10:06am, and i already need to prepare to go to school.
